Judo Promotion Night!

Judo testing was back in early December, and ever since, the boys have been anxiously waiting for Promotion Night. After scheduling it twice, the night finally came. Here is our "before" shot!
Each of the judo students were able to show some of what they have learned during some demonstrations. Talmage was up against an orange belt.
Taggart got to go against cousin AJ -- he's really trying hard to have a game face, not that big cheesy grin of his!
Teagan flips Brandon before Ken later uses Teagan to demonstrate something dramatic!
Grandma N would have had heart failure watching this one!
After all the belts were awarded, this is the new order of things. Teagan advanced to Blue belt, Talmage to Orange and Taggart to Yellow.
The proud class of 2008!
And our own colorful goofballs!
Can you tell that they love this!?! We are glad for what they are learning, for the great people they work with, and for the confidence they are gaining!

Fantastic! I can picture every bit of the fun, after watching a couple of practices. Congratulations to the three of you, and the rest of the family who support in the wings. Love, Grandma PenGwen

These are such great pictures! You definitely make me want to see it in person. After being in California for Jackson's birthday Taryn announced that she wanted to go to Hawaii for her birthday. We told her we'd take her in 2011. It's a date. Mark your calendar.

That was quite a flip! I think Mom or Dad deserves some kind of award for capturing this particular move. Keep up the good work!

Shan gets the photo credits -- when I saw this one, I was amazed myself! Great Job, Shan!
