Halloween - Hawaiian-Style

We finally got the chance to upload our Halloween pictures! Our little "Things" didn't want to have pictures taken, though. Shan and I wound up carrying them the whole way -- all the different looking people and loud noises at our 3 Ward Trunk-or-Treat put them in a frenzy of their own! The picture of Sydni's hair shows even better than reality was -- hair get paint (for clubbing) just is too hard to use for 2-year-olds! Teagan's costume was a hit with the missionaries who were judging the costume parade! We couldn't find him one of Shan's old missionary tags, though. He was D&C 6, 11, 12, 13 & 14:3. Talmage kept having to rearrange his towel as a Hitchhiker (off for pix!).

Halloween in Kona means HOT and HUMID!! I bought the girls costumes on clearance - fairies! Nice and cool, in case we wind up carrying them again NEXT year! Long sleeves and sweat pants were just too much! We sympathized with a new family from Utah, who were really sweating it that night -- they were used to long-johns under the costume and a coat on top! I think I'll keep our weather, but next year, we'll opt for cooler costumes!
