Jay's Day
Just a quick blog today. Jaylene's wedding is this afternoon and I have been thinking of her (and the whole crew there) for a while. We got to see Jay in September (and here's the afghan - the softest thing!!).
So with her marriage, we wish her great happiness and best wishes, and also good luck through all the changes, transitions and adjustments that happen when two people join their lives! Hope we get to meet Lamond soon!
Someone was nice enough to take a picture of the whole group of us - name this location (Marci should have a BIG advantage!). This was such a fun event to go to with our favorite college freshmen! Oh, the memories!!!

Oh, what fun pictures. Congratulations to Jaylene, and I am always glad to see Marci, in whatever setting. See you soon! Mom
First, my guess...that walkway when you leave the administration bldg, heading towards the bell tower, the one I've forgotten what its named! We need to go to Provo!
Second, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that afghan! The colors are awesome, and I especially love the little round balls in the design...do I sound unschooled in terminology or what? "balls"...probably NOT...;)
And lastly, I wish Jaylene luck! The first year of marriage requires a lot of patience and learning, so exciting!
That afghan is indeed gorgeous. Did you make it Traci? Love the pictures too - I have always thought the Utah desert absolutely breathtaking. Congrats to the newlyweb!
Yes, this afghan represents sanity during traffic! I made it primarily while being the passenger in the van, although I did add to it while watching movies, too. Val, the little balls are called "clusters" in this one, but I have seen them referred to as "popcorns" in other patterns.
Val is right about location - well, close! It's on that skywalk thingy (That's what you meant, right?!)
Aunty Traci! I love the pic of you guys! You're so sweet and you did a BEAUTIFUL job on the afghan! It's so wierd having a married sister! I guess I'll have to get use to it! hehe! I love you tonz! Tell the fam hi!
